We all have times in our life when we feel poor, something happens, we lose our home, our income, our jobs. But this remedy is not for those people that feel poor due to unforseen circumstances. This remedy is for people that feel poor on a deep level.

This remedy is called Psorinum. The main feeling of psorinum is a sort of welfare state, a dirt bag state.  One of filth, dirtyness, poverty and extreme loneliness. They feel it so deeply that this remedy is also considered for suicidal states. A psorinum state can develop when a person has grown up on welfare and is sort of an outcast in society because of it, perhaps like the ghetto living, where the rest of society is alien to them, and the only thing they know is what they see around them.

They start to feel that the poor surroundings around them are a reflection of them, it becomes a label they attach to themselves. As a result they feel like the born loser, they have a  feeling of LACK on all levels, a lack of energy, love, willpower, hope knowledge, and amibiton. Despair and hoplessness prevail in this state.

A psorinum type may grow up to be successful and rich but the they do not feel that way, they feel poor and lonely. Many psorinum types have difficulty with cleanliness, and may have trouble with laundry, cleaning dishes, or bathing. They are also called the great unwashable, implying no matter what they do they will still look filthy. Psorinum types do feel better when they bathe, emotionally at least.

They also tend to smell, they may have a very strong under body odour that is putrid and unnatural and can smell like onions, rotten egg, or carion. These people also tend to have recurring parasitic infections, a reflection again of their deep feelings of filth and poverty. Other physical symptoms characteristic of psorinum is their insatiable hunger, and they can wake up at night from hunger. They are better by warmth, eating, and sweating, washing, and worse from cold, coffee, sugar, and suppressions

Psorinum is made from Scabies, which is commonly called "the itch", or "mange" in animals. It's a tick or mite, and it is a form of parasite. Scabies is an itchy skin condition caused by an infestation by the itch mite Sarcoptes scabiei. Mites are small eight-legged parasites (in contrast to insects, which have six legs). They are tiny, just 1/3 millimeter long, and burrow into the skin to produce intense itching, which tends to be worse at night. The mites that cause scabies are not visible with the naked eye but can be seen with a magnifying glass or microscope

It is called a nosode in homeopathy, a remedy made from the disease itself. This remedy was known as Psoricum in Hahnemann's time but it was renamed by Hering in 1831 to Psorinum.
