How to Be Extremely Healthy For People That Prefer Not to Cook

When I think of having to cook, chop, marinade, julienne, mince, saute, toss, flip, fry, bake, or prepare anything to eat, I would rather starve. I hate cooking, my mother tried to help me, in fact it was the only way she knew how to bond with me.  Well toss that mother daughter pipe dream out the window.  But I can't eat cereal, or toast for the rest of my life. There are a couple of cheap machines you can buy that literally require nothing from you. If your dreams of finding that perfect mate that likes to cook doesn't show up, then you have options.

1.) A Crock Pot
2.) A Steamer

Buy both of those and you are set for life. You buy whatever you want to eat and throw it in, and the machine will cook it for you.  The great thing about a steamer is that you get to put in green leafy things, fish and vegetables that you wouldn't normally eat. A great way to get greens into the diet without having to eat them raw, ugh, like kale, chard, collard, or dandelion root. We have to find some way to get them in our diet. They even have multilevel steamers, you can steam your fish and rice and vegies at the sametime, genuis, and when it all comes out, it's a done meal! Imagine the possibilites.

For the laziest of folks you can even try and steam your dishes, forget the washing. Hey why not.

Benefits of A Steamer

-compatible with many weight loss programs because of it's low fat options
-can use fish unlike the crock pot
-can incorporate many healthy starches you hadn't tried such as basmati rice, wild rice, quinoa, millet, etc
-cook a whole meal at once
-get the greens into our diet

Steamer Recipes!

The benefits of a crock pot are:

The slow cooker needs virtually no tending while
it cooks, freeing you up to do other chores or recipes.

 - The slow cooker will tenderize less expensive, tough
cuts of meat and make great stews out of them.

- The slow cooker allows you to be out of the kitchen
for extended periods of time -sometimes even all day.

- Burning your food is rarely a problem. The slow cooker
will make many dishes for you better than any other
appliance -especially those that tend to stick to
the bottom of a pan.
