How to Clean, Moisturize, and Exfoliate Your Skin Naturally

Did you know that you can effectively clean, exfoliate and moisturize your skin with essential oils, and not end up with oily skin?
When I was up north in Haliburton,on a David Wolfe retreat,  the owners of Living Libations were our hosts. Nadine Artemis is a legend in her own right. She has a line of essentials oils made from scratch and obtains the raw ingredients from many pristine places around the world, such as Hawaii. Nadine's product for cleaning facial skin, is called "The Best Skin Ever". She claims it's an ancient gypsy recipe, and contrary to popular belief, essential oils do not leave the face oily. The ingredients are

1.)
jojoba
2.) coco creme
3.) seabuckthorn
4.) tamanu
5.) lavender
6.) vetiver
7.) grapefruit
8.) palmarosa

A small bottle cost me twenty five dollars, so the cost is very resonable for essential oils. Essentials oils are pure and toxin free, unlike most facial cleaning products on the market. They contain sodium lauryl sulphate, a corrosive substance found in most skin care products, and it penetrates grease.

Not only can you use sodium lauryl sulphate to clean your skin but  it also acts on greasy garage floors, and can also degrease your car engine! Hey if its good for your car's engine then it must be good for your delicate skin. Right?
But it is important to know that the skin is the largest organ of the human body and anything we put on it will get absorbed.  So we must be vigilant about what we use to clean our skin. Do you want a commercial degreaser lurking in your bloodstream?

To use her product, all you do is get a wet or damp cloth, put a drop of oil on it and wipe your face and neck with it. It will remove all of the dirt, moisturize, and exfoliate your skin. My skin is not oily, and  it feels moist, soft and clean.
I have been using it for the past few days and men are taking second and third glances my way. Single men or women,  are you listening?
